The history of the
Premchand Group began in Bombay in 1856,
when Premchand Roychand, one of the
most prominent personalities in the
financial markets of his time, founded
Premchand Roychand & Sons, which
today functions as the Group's apex
entity.
Today, the Premchand
Group is a closely-held, family-owned
Group that believes in investing mainly
for the long term. The Group's strength
is in building and growing relationships
with business partners, be they large
or small.

& Sons provides the headquarters
for the Group in Mumbai. The main operating
